Mary has experienced that yoga is a relationship between the body, breath, mind, spirit, and heart. It is for every “body”. It brings the student on a journey to better physical and emotional health. Yoga works!
She first practiced yoga 20 years ago as a way to bring balance to her life as a classroom teacher and mother of two young children. She began sharing her passion for yoga with others in the past six years. This brought the merging of two careers as a nurse and then as a classroom teacher. This wellness career path of yoga and mindfulness allows her to lead others in the practice of living a fuller life.
Accomplishing her RYT 200 at Perennial Wisdom and Meditation in Madison in May 2016, followed a dedicated practice for the previous 5 years. It was a desire she sought to deepen her own practice, merge her two past careers, and obtain the skills to guide others to finding their optimal health, vibrancy, and true self in a world that challenges authenticity.
Mary seeks to make yoga accessible for all of her students, provide opportunities within her community for yoga, and connect her professional paths to cultivate well-being in those who share their yoga practice with her.
She has experience working with children, teens, adults, seniors, cancer survivors, synchronized skating teams, school events on Mindfulness and Yoga, and students on the autism spectrum. She has shared her experience at the Twisted Warrior, Agnesian Healthcare, The Boys and Girls Club, the YMCA, the Goodman Community Center in Madison, and the Center for Healthy Minds at the University of Wisconsin-Madison; incorporating mindfulness and yoga. She provides workshops on Mindfulness and Meditation as well.
Mary brings an open heart, warmth, compassion, and energy to her teaching.
Yoga is a journey. Step on your mat and join her in a practice that cultivates your best life.

'The show last night was great! What was I most impressed with????THE CHOREOGRAPHY was fascinating. The HARMONIES were awesome as well! The sound system was right on the money…no feedback….i could hear everyone…and it was flawless.'
'Thank you for the great show last night. On the way out the door, our son said "I think that was the best one yet". It's very cool to hear that from a 12 year old boy. On the way home our kids were both asking about Motown- what is it, where is the name from, etc. It made me stop and think about what we are able to expose them to through your shows. They can appreciate a world they might not ever know existed, if not for seeing live performances.'
'Great music & dancing - musical direction, sound. All Marvelous!!' - Anonymous
